About our organization

Today
Our organization was founded in 1999 as a result of a government initiative to develop social economy projects that would provide essential home support services to seniors while creating meaningful employment opportunities for underemployed adults.
With the support of the CLSC René-Cassin, Clean Sweepers Inc. (Coup de Balai Inc.) was established. A Board of Directors was formed, and Mr. Bruce Cameron was appointed Executive Director.
In its early years, the organization focused primarily on providing housekeeping services to help seniors and individuals with reduced autonomy remain safely and comfortably in their homes. Over time, the needs of our clients evolved, and so did our services.
In 2018, Coup de Balai expanded its mission to provide a broader range of personal support and home care services, including personal assistance, respite care, and enhanced support for individuals experiencing a loss of autonomy. To better reflect this evolution and the growing diversity of services offered, the organization adopted the name Les Services CDB à Domicile.
We continue to evolve with our community, providing high-quality home support services rooted in dignity, respect, and compassion.

Bruce Cameron
Notre fondateur et ancien directeur général, M. Bruce Cameron, a travaillé sans relâche pour faire croître l'organisation tout en répondant aux besoins de nos clients avec chaleur, compassion et respect. Son leadership, son dévouement et sa vision ont joué un rôle déterminant dans le développement de l'organisation et ont permis de faire en sorte qu'elle demeure attentive à l'évolution des besoins de la communauté.
